Housed within Morgan’s Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr. School of Engineering, the Center for Reverse Engineering and Assured Microelectronics (C.R.E.A.M.) laboratory focuses on research and teaching techniques to prevent the penetration and manipulation of the nation’s electronic infrastructure. The mission of the C.R.E.A.M. lab is to provide the intelligence community with knowledge, methodology, solutions and skilled engineers. Through hands-on research, students and faculty work to develop countermeasures and assurance solutions to secure embedded systems against sensitive data extraction, system disruption, diversion and obfuscation.
